As an Italian-American, Annie was intrigued by the stories of multi-generational Italian winemakers and their unique and special love of the land. Her wine journey began shortly thereafter as an continual exploration of the highly detailed, painstaking process where art truly meets science: in a glass of wine.
Annie has spent time in Napa Valley and Temecula wine regions. She plans an extended visit to the California coast, highlighting Sonoma, Mendocino, and Santa Barbara Counties. In the meantime, this DC-based wine lover can be found sipping on the latest wines produced by Three Creeks Winery in Northern Virginia.
